Dipping Sauce

Pair your Smash Chicken Wontons with classic soy sauce for the perfect balance of salty and savoury. The dipping sauce enhances the overall experience and adds an extra layer of deliciousness.


Makes 18 -20

1 ¼ lb of ground chicken

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tbsp of zero calorie brown sweetener, like Monkfruit or Swerve

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp fresh grated ginger

1 tbsp sesame seed

½ tsp red pepper flakes

18-21 – Wonton Wrappers

Green onions, sliced for garnish

To a medium bowl add ground chicken. Mix marinade ingredients in a separate bowl add to chicken and combine well. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. I did 3 hrs. When ready to cook, heat 12” skillet, spray with olive oil or PAM.  Using the small cookie scoop, place one scoop in the center of a wonton, smash with back of scoop. Place in pan chicken side up, cook until browned, flip and continue to cook a few more minutes until chicken is cooked through. I did batches of 4. Keep cooked ones warm by covering with a lid on a plate.  Sprinkle with green onions. Fold in half, dip in soy sauce and eat!!!!!
